We are pleased to announce that several cars with plating done by CustomChrome Plating in Grafton, OH were chosen to be prominently displayed at the show and 2 of them were Great 8 contestants for the prized Ridler Award.
Those 2 were: A 40's era Chevrolet pickup truck done by good friends and great customers Eric and Vivian Lavine at Lavine Restorations in Nappanee IN..
A beautifully restyled '56 Chevrolet Nomad wagon done by the very talented metal wizard Neil Lea of Rods and Restos in Centre,AL..
CustomChrome congratulates both of these builders on their achievements.
The other cars shown here are the spectacular '32 Ford Sedan Delivery built by Dave Lane at Fastlane Rod Shop in Donohue, IA and the black chromed '33 Willys built by the Nosse bros. and Lee Carpenter in Cleveland, OH..
Again, congratulations to these talented people and a big THANK YOU to them for choosing us as their metalfinisher and plater!!

Another Rod & Custom cover car with all the polishing and plating done by CustomChrome.
This '54 Mercury Monterey is owned by Mark and Evonne Morton of San Juan Capistrano, CA. Mark, as you may know, is the driving force behind the reincarnation of Hop Up Magazine.
An interesting feature on this cool custom is that all of the stainless steel trim has been polished, then chromed. It adds a lot to the usual aspect of the car, especially when seen in person.

Another Rod & Custom cover car! This time it’s a ’32 Ford Sedan Delivery built by Dave Lane of Fast Lane Rod Shop in Donohue, IA. For George Poteet. This car is an understated stunner and CustomChrome is proud to be a part of this way cool ride.
